I’ve been active my whole life and had my Lifetime membership where I would lift for an hour and then play basketball for a couple hours a couple days a week. My lifting I’d hardly break a sweat and every other day seemed to be chest/bench day. I started putting on more and more weight, and not in a good way. I was up to about 270lbs and needed to do something different.
Around the same time one of my good friends stopped playing basketball and started doing this thing called CrossFit and told me to check it out. I did. I was hooked. From there I started doing a few competitions and bought into the CrossFit lifestyle and paleo eating.
After my first competition, one of my goals was to share my passion of CrossFit with others. I spend a majority time working at my law firm, but my passion is spending time at CrossFit North Industry coaching and enjoying the amazing community we have. I’m now an addict and a sponge for CrossFit knowledge having received my Level 1 Certification and picking up more certifications and gaining more knowledge every year.
